Welcome to The Conservatory at Sussex County Fairgrounds. Established in 2008 with the creative generosity of Bruce and Beverly Gordon, The Conservatory was originally designed for the Springfest Flower & Garden show and for flower exhibits during the annual New Jersey State Fair held annually in August. Since then, the venue has grown to become the proud host to over 100 weddings per year.
“Simple in a stunning kind of way” as once described by Beverly Gordon certainly came true thanks to her vision. With every detail considered, this eco-friendly Conservatory incorporated the following green materials:
Nestled in the heart of beautiful Sussex County, The Conservatory at Sussex County Fairgrounds truly is where rustic and elegance become one. The 5000 square foot glass building can seat up to 250 guests, bringing grandeur to any event. Attached to The Conservatory is a modern rustic style barn complete with a recently upgraded bridal suite. Behind The Conservatory is a magnificent paver patio surrounded by 7 beautiful gardens for the perfect ceremony backdrop, endless pictures, and the best outdoor cocktail hour. When evening comes, the propane firepit is another great opportunity for your guests to enjoy all the venue has to offer.
